Terracotta Vessel XXIV.

£20.00

Terracotta Vessels is a collection of thrown ceramics using the rich orange clay of terracotta when creating my forms. This beautiful clay reminds me of warmer and sunnier days.

These vessels are created to be versatile in how you can use them in your homes. I envisage them being used as vases for fresh or dried flowers, plant pots for succulents, for cups of tea or a small flat white or espresso, for small dishes for snacks like olives or nuts, and to hold jewellery when you are being messy or creative.

Each of my ceramic vessels is unique, as I throw and hand-build intuitively rather than aiming for the same shape each time, and constantly growing my clay and glaze repertoire.

Dimensions

Top Diameter: 4.5cm

Height: 7.5cm

Bottom Diameter: 5cm

I envisage this vessel being used for holding little posies of wildflowers collected on walks, dried flowers, or a bunch of fresh herbs in your kitchen to use in your cooking.
